SMS Notifications & Consent Policy
Last updated: April 27, 2026
GovMatrixIQ is operated by DRx Consulting Group LLC.
1. Program Description
GovMatrixIQ offers optional SMS notifications to help government contractors keep up with time-sensitive contract activity. The program sends transactional alerts only — bid deadline reminders, SAM.gov opportunity matches, registration expiry warnings, pipeline stage changes, and account/security alerts.
We do not send marketing, promotional, or advertising text messages under this program.
2. How You Opt In
You can opt in via either of these methods:
- Public opt-in form (no account required): Visit https://govmatrixiq.com/sms-opt-in, enter your mobile phone number, and check the consent box agreeing to receive transactional SMS from GovMatrixIQ.
- Inside your account: If you already have a GovMatrixIQ account, you can enable SMS in Settings → Notifications, where the same consent disclosure is shown.
In both cases, the consent checkbox is unchecked by default and is not pre-selected. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. We log a timestamped consent record (IP address, user agent, consent text shown) for every opt-in.
3. How You Opt Out
You can opt out at any time by:
- Replying STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, or REVOKE to any GovMatrixIQ SMS message. We will send one confirmation message acknowledging the opt-out, after which you will receive no further messages.
- Disabling SMS in Settings → Notifications inside your account.
- Emailing support@govmatrixiq.com with the phone number to remove.

4. Message Frequency
Frequency varies based on your pipeline activity and notification preferences. Typically 1–5 messages per week. You may receive more during periods of heavy bid activity or registration renewal windows. You can lower or disable specific alert types in Settings → Notifications.
5. Costs
Message and data rates may apply. GovMatrixIQ does not charge a fee for SMS notifications, but your wireless carrier's standard messaging and data rates apply to every message sent or received. Contact your carrier for details about your plan.
6. Data Sharing — Third-Party Disclosure
The phone number and consent record collected during opt-in are used only to deliver the transactional alerts you signed up for. We share the phone number with Twilio (our SMS carrier of record) solely for the purpose of delivering messages, and with our database provider (Supabase) for storing the consent record. Both providers are bound by data processing agreements.
We do not sell, rent, lease, or otherwise transfer your phone number to any other party for marketing, advertising, or promotional purposes.
7. Supported Carriers
SMS delivery is provided by Twilio over US carrier networks, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and all other major US wireless carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
8. Eligibility
The SMS program is available to users in the United States who are 18 years of age or older. By opting in you confirm that you are the account holder or authorized user of the mobile phone number you provide.
9. Privacy
Phone numbers and consent records are processed under our Privacy Policy. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256). We retain consent records as long as you remain opted in, plus a reasonable audit trail period after opt-out.
10. Changes to This Policy
Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. If a change requires re-consent under TCPA or CTIA guidelines, we will request fresh opt-in via SMS or email.
